One study for everyone who prepares and teaches the Word
The Ministry Study began with a simple frustration: preparation scattered across documents, notebooks, note apps and email drafts — and nothing that treated teaching Scripture as its own craft.
Pastors, small-group and Bible study leaders, teachers, youth leaders, chaplains, worship and student leaders, and lay volunteers all carry the same weight: original, careful, deeply personal work on a deadline that never moves. The tools most people use were built for memos and term papers, not for a message that will be spoken aloud to people you love.
So we built the study we wanted — and then kept going. A manuscript editor with highlighting and images, a Bible reader you can study beside your draft, an illustration library, a resource shelf for quotes, links and files, nested folders for series and seasons, templates for sermons, Bible study lessons, keynotes, weddings and funerals, notes with voice dictation, and a preaching mode that works on a computer, phone or tablet — even offline.
You choose how you lead when you set up your account, and the study shapes itself around that: the templates, the structures and the language follow the way you actually teach. A church team of up to 25 can share one account, each with a private study and only what they choose to share.
We deliberately left out artificial intelligence. Teaching Scripture is the work of a person who knows the text and knows the room. The study keeps that work in order — it never tries to do it for you.
You do the writing
No generated outlines, no ghostwritten paragraphs. The study holds the tools; you hold the pen.
Your study is private
Messages, lessons, notes, illustrations and resources are locked to your account. Even support staff can help without ever reading your content.
Shaped around your role
Pastor, teacher, small-group leader, youth or student leader, chaplain, lay volunteer — pick how you lead and your templates and workflow follow.
Ready when you stand up
Preaching mode, timers, bookmarks and offline access on any screen, plus autosave, version history and one-click downloads so nothing is ever lost.
Meet the founder
Aaron Joseph Hall
Founder, The Ministry Study · AJH Enterprises, LLC
Aaron Joseph Hall has spent years around pulpits, classrooms and small groups — watching faithful people carry a weekly teaching deadline with tools that were never made for the task.
He built The Ministry Study as the workspace he wished existed: quiet, private, organized, and completely free of artificial intelligence, so the person preparing the message is always the one writing it.
He still uses the study every week, and every feature is shaped by conversations with pastors, teachers and ministry leaders who do this work.
Who is behind the study
The Ministry Study is built and maintained by AJH Enterprises, LLC — a small team that works closely with pastors and ministry leaders and ships what they actually ask for.
