Policies

Your work, your ownership, plainly stated

No legal fog. Here is exactly who owns what you write, who is responsible for backups, and how refunds and cancellations work.

You own your content

Every sermon, Bible study, lesson, illustration, resource and note you create in The Ministry Study belongs to you. We claim no ownership, no licence to publish it, and no right to reuse it.

We never use your content to train artificial intelligence, and there is no AI writing anywhere in this application. Your words are your own.

Support staff can help with your account — plan, sign-in, church seats — but cannot read the content you write.

Backups are a shared responsibility

We keep your work safe with autosave, version history and managed database backups. Even so, no online service should ever be your only copy.

Please download your own copies regularly. From Backup & Export inside the app you can download individual items, whole folders, or your full library as Word documents and PDFs.

The Ministry Study is not liable for content loss caused by accidental deletion, account closure or service interruption. Keeping a personal copy protects years of faithful work.

Refund Policy

Subscription refunds: you can request a refund within 7 calendar days of your first subscription payment. Approved refunds apply only to that first payment.

Renewal payments: renewals are non-refundable, and the 7-day window does not start over when a subscription renews. Canceling stops future renewal charges, but it does not refund a payment that has already been processed.

Lifetime plans: Pro Lifetime and Church Lifetime purchases are final and non-refundable. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of The Ministry Study service, not the lifetime of the purchaser.

Refund abuse: we reserve the right to decline requests where we see suspected fraud, abuse of this policy, or repeated refund requests.

  • Canceling never deletes your account or your content — teachings, Bible studies, illustrations, resources, notes and prayer requests all stay, and you can download everything at any time.
  • Canceling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account; deleting an account is a separate step you take yourself in Settings.
  • Refund requests go through the contact page. Include your account email, the plan you purchased, the date of purchase and a brief explanation.
Privacy and access

Content is private to your account by default. On a church account, an item is only visible to your team if you explicitly mark it as shared with your church.

Access rules are enforced at the database level, not just in the interface, so one account can never read another account’s work.
